Hedgehogs
Hedgehogs love to potter around damp, leafy undergrowth looking for food. They like to eat a range of garden pests, including slugs. A pile of compost or logs will provide just the right conditions for insects that hedgehogs find nutritious and tasty. Offering food and water for them will certainly help provide the perfect environment for a happy and healthy hedgehog. If you think you have a hedgehog in your garden please don’t use slug pellets, these can prove fatal for them.
